I love that the eye, therefore the mind, can travel up the stream. This calls to the adventurous spirit to "Take a walkabout". F/L

Beautiful Michael! I love living in Hawaii but i miss fall so so much. Wonderful capture.
Emmy Vickers
Nice peaceful fall scene Michael. I do love your wintry scene best. Left comments there for you. Nice work.
Barbie Corbett-Newmin
I prefer this shot to the winter scene.
Glenn Jenks
The Image created in the fall is a tough shot to create . often seems like this appear in the photograph to be too busy and cluttered to be attractive. However here this image has been captured masterfully. The colors are all natural in appearance and possibly tweaked a little to accentuate the complemetary nature of the colors in the scene. The detail shapness throughout is perfect. is beautifully composed and I cannot think of a single critique to suggest.
Lisa Kilby
Lovely capture, Michael! Not quite the crisp contrasts as the winter scene, and the weather was obviously overcast. Yet I always enjoy seeing the differences the seasons make!

Michael, as RJ Ferguson has drawn our attention to both of these images (fall and winter) I have to say that there is no real attraction in this one for me. Although the place looks like a nice spot to be, it does not have any special qualities, centre of interest, or unique natural element in it. It does not feel as much like a fine art photo as the winter version. You do have some wonderful images in your collection, however.
Michael Hills replied:
I mostly agree with you, this was supposed to be a four part series, one photo from the same location during each of the seasons. In that way i thought it might be interesting. But as a stand lone photo it has enough interest for me, though the blown out sky is something i need to watch out for and fix ongoing. Thanks for looking and commenting!

I think I prefer this one to the winter. The colors of fall are always so beautiful and can definitely be more prominent when paired with water. Well done@!
